KEY MOMENT: With the game tied, 1-1, Dan Haren botched an attempted squeeze play, which resulted in Justin Turner getting caught in a rundown between third base and home plate. But later in the at-bat, Haren singled to right field to drive in Erisbel Arruebarrena and move the Dodgers in front, 2-1.

AT THE PLATE: The Dodgers blew open the game in the seventh inning. With runners on the corners, Adrian Gonzalez hit a grounder at shortstop Wilmer Flores for what should have been the third out of the inning. But Flores made his second error of the game, allowing Dee Gordon a run that increased the Dodgers' lead to 3-1. Matt Kemp followed with a two-run double that extended the advantage to 5-1. Of the five runs Mets starter Jonathan Niese allowed over 6 2/3 innings, only two were earned. The Mets made three errors, including one in the eighth inning, when the Dodgers added their final run.

ON THE MOUND: Dan Haren won for the third time in four starts, as he limited the Mets to a run and three hits over seven innings. The only run Haren allowed came on a home run by the first batter he faced in the game, Curtis Granderson. Haren struck out six and walked none. Brandon League and J.P. Howell combined to pitch a scoreless eighth inning.

This will mark the second time this season the Dodgers hand out vouchers for a giveaway.

MEDICAL REPORT: Right-hander Chris Perez, who is sidelined with bone spurs in his right ankle, pitched for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga as part of a minor league rehabilitation assignment. It didn't go well. Perez recorded only one out against the Stockton Ports, who scored five runs against him.
