The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will be Monday beginning at 5 p.m. Pacific on NBC and the evening will answer a number of intriguing questions. Will "Modern Family" win its fifth straight Emmy for comedy series, tying "Frasier's" record in the process? Or will newcomer "Orange Is the New Black" pull off an upset?
What about "True Detective's" Matthew McConaughey? Might he become the first actor to win an Oscar and an Emmy in the same year since George C. Scott pulled off the feat in 1971? Or will "Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston prevail for the show's farewell season?
Los Angeles Times television critic Mary McNamara and Times award columnist Glenn Whipp will offer their thoughts on these topics -- and many more -- in an Emmy live chat on Monday at 11 a.m. PDT.

This year's Emmys feature a number of close contests, including the race for drama series, in which "Breaking Bad" will try to win a second straight Emmy over "True Detective," "House of Cards," "Game of Thrones," "Downton Abbey" and "Mad Men." The lead actress drama category is wide-open, with two-time winner Claire Danes ("Homeland") up against the likes of Julianna Margulies ("The Good Wife"), Kerry Washington ("Scandal") and Robin Wright ("House of Cards").
Who do you want to see win? Who do you think should prevail? If you have a question or comment for Mary and Glenn, pass them along on Twitter, using the hashtag #asklatimes. See you Monday!
