Kevon Seymour said he would live and learn.
And on Saturday night at Arizona, Seymour and his USC teammates will try to move on from the crushing defeat by Arizona State at the Coliseum.
The Trojans gave up 510 passing yards. They allowed two touchdowns in the final three minutes.
"We are going to bounce back stronger," Seymour, a junior cornerback, said of the defense.
Seymour said the unit would change its mind-set against No. 10-ranked Arizona and its top-20 offense.
"We just have to put a big emphasis on finishing," he said.
Four Wildcats receivers have more than 200 yards receiving, including Cayleb Jones, who has 32 receptions for 525 yards and six touchdowns.
Seymour said that he would rise to the challenge.
"We just have to forget about what happened in the past -- we can't totally forget -- but we have to put it behind us," he said, "so we won't have an outcome like last week."
