Get on board with holiday spirit as sail and power boats light up the night in Newport Harbor from Dec. 17-21.
The holiday boat parade scene offers free entertainment and lots of glitz as boaters try to outdo one another with multiple strings of lights, carolers and special themes.
The 106th Christmas Boat Parade, one of the oldest and longest parades in the Southland, will "Deck the Hulls with Bows of Holly."
The five-night Newport parade takes place from 6:30-9 nightly.
Yachts to kayaks light up along 14 miles of the harbor starting and ending at Bay Island.
You can rent a boat to watch, reserve a seat, dine at a waterside restaurant or watch from a bridge or shore anywhere from Pirate's Cove to Lido Park.
Fireworks are shot off from Balboa Pier on the first night (6:30 Dec. 17) and on the final night (9 on Dec. 21).
