President Obama picks Kentucky to win NCAA championship

Siding with the popular vote, President Obama says Kentucky will remain undefeated en route to winning this year's NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Obama's tournament bracket was revealed Wednesday on ESPN, and it showed he has picked the Wildcats to beat Villanova in the final. Duke and Arizona are the other teams he's picked to reach the Final Four.

While it seems Kentucky is a pretty safe bet, Obama hasn't done well with his bracket in recent years. After successfully predicting North Carolina would win the 2009 title during his first year in office, Obama has lobbed only bracket airballs.

Obama also thinks there will be plenty of upsets this weekend, leading off with 12th-seeded Buffalo beating fifth-seeded West Virginia. He also sees 10th-seeded Davidson in the Sweet 16.

In addition to revealing his bracket, Obama, a big basketball fan, said he would like the NCAA to move the shot clock back to 30 seconds. He said he also would like to see the college game use the same three-point line as the NBA.
