A massive fire has broken out at the GE Appliance Park in Louisville, Ky., collapsing part of a building and sending up a billowing plume of black smoke.
Aerial video of the fire from a local television station shows scores of firefighters on Friday morning battling the blaze that has engulfed the sprawling building, with flames shooting through the roof as small explosions can be heard.
In an email to reporters, GE spokeswoman Kim Freeman said there were no known injuries.
"The fire is contained to Building 6 at this time," she said.
The entire site has been evacuated.
